Jacky lives and paints near Leamington Spa. After A levels, life got in the way of painting, but for a decade now she has returned to focus on it, studying with other artists and developing her practice with acrylics. She is a member of Leamington Studio Artists, exhibiting regularly at the Art Room and East Lodge, with the VAF and Kineton groups, and Warwickshire Open Studios.

Subjects that fascinate her are landscapes drawn from the natural world and the built environment, adapted to add atmosphere and drama. Whilst she also uses other media of oils, pastels, linoprint, collagraph and dry point etching, a true constant is a love of capturing the light illuminating the scene. She enjoys the challenge of fulfilling commissions, whilst always seeing the extraordinary in the world about us.
