Eleanor Allitt
My work is about abundance within our environment, offering suggestions, memories and perhaps reminders of things forgotten. It provides a glimpse into the infinite richness inherent in nature, where structures, colour, texture and space meet to express unbounded invention.
Using homemade textures and patterns, found papers and many tools, I make collage, often adding drawing, to draw attention to this boundless profusion. I have exhibited in London and Leamington, with paintings accepted by the Royal Academy, and was Artist in Residence for Amari – Society of Storytellers in Crete.
