John Simpson is a West Midlands-based fine artist who began his creative career in graphic design, training at St Martin’s School of Art in London. After running a successful design and print business, he transitioned to fine art in 2000.

Inspired by the natural world and environmental issues, John works across painting and sculpture, often using unconventional and recycled materials. His vibrant, surreal work explores the relationship between nature and the urban world, inviting viewers to look beyond the imagery and reflect on our impact on the planet.
